CARE – Cardiac Regeneration Research
The Care Lab is a research group from the University Clinic of Cardiac Surgery at Innsbruck Medical University, founded in 2011. We are located at the Cardiosurgical Research Laboratory.
The aim of our research is to gain deeper knowledge on clinically relevant topics in cardiac surgery and cardiac medicine in general with a translational approach.
We try to elucidate unknown pathomechanisms in order to find new treatment strategies and we perform experimental research with a clear focus on clinical implementation.
