Career Counselling for Early to Mid Career Scientists

The Medical University offers specialized career counseling for scientists in the early to mid-stage of their careers. The service is aimed at researchers who are at crossroads in their professional careers, for example, when deciding whether to pursue a long-term career in science, explore alternative career paths, or prepare for the next steps after fixed-term contracts.
In a confidential and structured setting, external advisors help you clarify your options, refine your individual goals, and develop concrete next steps for your future career path. Topics may include strategic career planning, profile building, work-life balance, and the transition to non-university career fields.

Coaching & Conflict Resolution

We also offer individual coaching for all our employees, giving you the opportunity to discuss work-related issues.
In the event of conflicts, you can take advantage of the conflict consultation hour. Two neutral, external consultants are available to answer your questions about conflicts and bullying anonymously. They will reflect on the events with you and discuss possible next steps in a solution-oriented manner.
