Equipment

UV monitoring in Austria is carried out by the Division for Biomedical Physics at the Medical University Innsbruck and the Company CMS-Dr. Ing. Schreder on the authority of the Federal Ministry for Sustainability and Tourism.

Beside the UV monitoring network a variety of instruments for measuring ultraviolet radiation are in use. Each instrument has its own characterization, making it more or less appropriate for specific applications.
