Teaching Awards 2025/26 – nominate now!

The Medical University of Innsbruck employs many excellent teachers, who support their student learners year after year. With the 23 teaching awards offered for excellent teaching in the study year 2025/26 (time period October 2025 until June 2026) the University recognizes the expertise of its teachers and distributes prize money of overall € 57,500. At least five awards are given to excellent young teachers and up to three to newcomers at the Medical University of Innsbruck. This year, there is also the possibility to nominate excellent student tutors in a particular category.

Your nomination of a teacher is anonymous. You may afterwards participate in a lottery of 20 MUI-shop vouchers (€ 50 each). Your anonymous nominations form the substantial basis for a jury who finally chooses the prize winners.

Students who start their study in winter semester 2026/2027 and who did not study at MUI in the study year 2025/2026, cannot participate yet.

• The nomination proceeds only via Moodle until October 18, 2026, 11:59 p.m.
• You may look into the following pages at any time and vote later on. Entries will not be saved upon exit, only after final upload. Only one final vote (upload) is possible.
